''WALKIN' THE FLOOR" by LSG

Sad songs are important because every life is tragic and results in pain and death. There is NO ESCAPE.

Not for anybody.

Maybe that basic fear drives the many manias that afflict the human race. Arrogance and ego, pride and jealousy all working together to make for insecure, petty people with delusions of importance and privilege.

A real man man knows importance to a community comes from serving, easing a fellow travelers load.

Who are the "fellow travelers"? We are the fellow travelers of this time and space. The only thing that truly matters is how we treat each other.

Sad songs are how we share the pain of our journey through this life. Sad songs are like an emotional cleansing that helps a soul face the rest of the day.
